These backgrounds were designed as part of a visual development project based on a Lithuanian folk tale called 'The Sky is Falling'.

It is about a cat who gets spooked by a cabbage leaf falling on its tail, thinking it’s the sky that’s falling on him. He runs off and meets other animals along the way including the rabbit, the fox, the wolf and the bear. He warns them about the falling sky, and they all continue running together. Once the group reaches the bear, she figures out what really happened and sends them all back home.
